One thing I didn’t mention in a previous post is the cost of war, which adds enormous amounts of money to the already heavy financial burden of the average American family and therefore to the pressures on a struggling US economy - apart of course from the much greater sacrifices the people in Iraq and Afghanistan are making in wars forced upon them.
