Pieke Bergmans is from Holland; she is a young industrial designer who has created “
virus art“, with objects such as Big Mama Virus, Metal Worm or Utopia infected. What i like most about her work is the concept of irregular mass production, which is all about altering production process so that every single product in one line of items has an irregularity which makes it unique. Result? New forms and uses. She works with different materials ranging from porcelain, metal and plastic to glass.
